Ive been making hundreds of smaller Shina woodcuts for the last number of months. I wasn't always sure of what exactly I was going to do with them all! I plan on making a lot of panels similar to this one, that can be tiled together to make larger installations, but each panel such as this one can also be a stand alone piece. This particular one has over 70 various blocks all printed over one another, as you can see!

My woodcuts are carved from Russian Birch plywood using an assortment of Japanese gouges fueled by ice cold Mountain Dew
with Guided by Voices always playing loudly in the background!
