As you might know these painted skull woodcuts on wooden panels have been pretty popular ! So much so that I've gone ahead and carved out a brand new bigger version of my favorite skull. I'll still be making the conventional (smaller ) skull but this one is big enough to really dominate a wall! I think you'll agree with me when you see the two sizes side by side. But who knows? maybe you'll want one or two in every size!!! Whatever you want!!! Please note the sizes for the skulls are 36" x 52" (Giant) 23" x33" (Large) and 14" x19" (Regular)
I've taken to printing many of my woodcuts directly onto Birch Plywood panels. I think that this is the best way for me to do it. They look really good this way. They are more durable plus they don't need frames because they come ready to hang!!!
My woodcuts are carved from Russian Birch plywood using an assortment of Japanese gouges fueled by ice cold Mountain Dew
with Guided by Voices always playing loudly in the background!
